i go there quite often and today i finally asked "why dont yall still have the car show here?" turns out that they changed owners a little while ago(thats not the problem, they are nice people) and they had one, and everyone would come in and order water and use the bathroom.

now they might start having them again if people would actually eat there. its great food, in my opinion, and they just might bring it back. anyone else feel like we should show them we could not screw them over with a million water orders?

around souther MN we have numerous cruise in's and the places all put together a special menu, and drink costs, they also have drawings for gifts that were donated or the car clubs have provided and you are allowed to put your name in a barrel and you have to be there when they draw, local radio stations also have done remotes ,and there is so many ideas out there that it should not just be a stop and run,

some of our clubs pay to have a coupon in the local free paper and work with the places to get people in,

How about having a poll and just hand out a paper that has some questions, about what you would want to see there or deals, or ?" you have ot bust your *** to get something or it will just die again, with pissed off people and end up with nothing,

don't just keep showing up and hoping something happens,,do a search on the HAMB and this has been covered before, many online sites also have many ideas,

being NEW owners they might really be receptive to this community planning to have a good time and place for everyone, we literally have a cruise night and place to go with in 35 miles every night, and we worked with a couple of new towns, that the nights conflicted, it is the greatest thing to get involved

couple of the towns are small, in the low thousands, the others are over 35 and 42 thousand, so it is not just a little local get togehter

Been there several times. Great spot for breakfast on Sunday mornings. Like to see some stuff to do, there. And yes, the food is good. Old style home-cookin'.

It is only fair for participants in a car gathering at a restaurant or drive-in to patronize the host business who is providing the gathering place. They are in business to feed their families just like you.
Self policing is another plus and lot cleanup after the event is a must! The younger bunch due to parental coddling think the world is a big trash can. Every time I see a drink cup or soda or beer can on the ground I'd like to sit the offender down and feed it to them...with a hammer.
