oldsmobile 394 question, rocketeers help!

quick question guys. i have a 63 394 i'm putting together. the car has no heater. can i just plug the water outlets where the heater core hoses used to go, or do i have to loop from one outlet to the other with a hose?

 

You can just plug them. 394, great engine!
