Well well, I finaly get out of the garage for a night and this is what I come home to. I'm gonna throw my 2 cents in.

I know my wheels are not consistent with the traditional HAMB fashion. But they are consistent with what I believe to be HAMB philosophy.

I see people on here every day with creative, innovative ideas, that they offer the rest of us free for the taking. Then we take their ideas and mold them and change them to suit our own applications so they are different and unique from the original idea.

To me, the point of building something custom is to be different. My intentions with the GMC are just that. It is my first attempt at a rod. There are many aspects of the truck that have been directly influenced by things I’ve read or seen on the HAMB. The wheels are just an expression of the individuality of MY truck. They were donor wheels from the Blazer. I chose them years ago because they were similar to Torque Thrusts but with a twist. They are different and they stand out. That’s the point.

I think traditional rods rule. Eventually, I’ll start a new project. It’ll be something with steel wheels, it will sport a nailhead, and it won't have fenders. And all that courtesy of all the incredible stuff I’ve seen since the So What guys introduced me to this place and this culture.

I really stirred you guys up with the wheels, all the more reason to keep them.

That’s all I have to say about that.

who cares about the fricken wheels and tires. Hot rodding shouldnt be about what you have for fricken tires and ****, it should be about having fun and building, it shouldnt be a *** kissing thing. I like the tires and wheels combo. I know this is a trad board and everything, but if the guy likes those rims and tires dont give him **** about it. Just my 2 cents. nate

Personally, I don't think the wheels look that bad. I would go white walls, but it isn't my truck. The rod project with the nailhead sounds cool, post some pics when you get started. Don't bust his balls too bad, he did part out a minitruck to build the GMC.

The Truck look great! I do like the grill

As far as the wheels go, this may not be the place for them but luckily they just bolt on, and you can give the truck any number of looks, from shop truck to lowrider, by just switching them, so who cares, there just like clothes, dress for the occasion.

I like the truck just the way it sits. Sure, I am in the minority here, but how traditional is putting a 55 year old truck on a new S-10 ch***is. It isn't, but I don't see any of you complaining about that...

ok, so this is just my opinion and it doesn't really mean much, but i thought rodding was all about individuality... when the first set of rallies got painted, im sure it wasn't because evrybody else did it, when the first top was chopped it wasn't because everybody else did it... so lets just enjoy the amazing work that tank did on this bad rod... i am personally very proud of his accomplishments, and proud to call him a friend !!! so, now all i can say is pull it out of the garage and "run forrest, run "
