Those and the Talbot-Lagos are undoubtedly the most sexy cars ever built IMO! Thanks for the pics!

The red thing on the street looks like a Morris Minor.

Really, what are the chances of a rare Morris Minor pickup driving by (as it appears) while he is taking these pictures? That's crazy!

Even more amazing if Jersey is "the place where rust never sleeps", as Minor Pickups (all Minors, for that matter), were made from powdered rust!

Actually, Jim, now that I think of it, the first concept stuff we talked about for your Caddy, was to follow the styling of these cars, Delage, Delahaye, Talbot. Remember?

    Hey,

To check out more of these "Deco Styled" French coachbuilt
vehicles check out these sites: www.delage.org. and the
    www.clubdelahaye.com and http://amicale:salmson.free fr/
sommaire.html. look at the gallery areas of these sites and
also, the '' manifestations" areas. Look at the coupes, cabriolets
and coaches. 'sorry I can't provide the links directly as I'm a
techno retard livin' in a 2.1 century.
If ya study the lines of these designs that the French designers
were working on in the early to mid thirties ya see Westergard,
Coachcraft, Sam Barris, Bertalucci (sp) any good Kustom of
this era, all shaired these French design lines. The Italian coach-
builders, before WWII and after, sure had some lines, but the
french were the ones whos' lines carried over to Kustoms.
