castrol superclean will probably do it...but you'll have to scrub it in with a stiff brush. it may take 2-3 tries to get rid of it. i've used it on oil spots, and it works pretty good.
Poor man's way : KITTY LITTER!! Grind it in with your boot, drive over it -then basically ignore it - it will suck up every last hint of oil, BUT!!! it takes time to wick it all out. The fancy dancy ones - some work better than others, but ya just can't "pull it all up" in 15 minutes if it's had days, weeks, months or years to soak in...but kitty litter will....eventually. BTW the cheaper the better.
Vodka works pretty well, the cheaper the better. Pour it on, let it soak in a little, and hose it off.
Clorine powder pour on, wet, scrub, power wash - worked last time on coustomers brick driveway...(she was Pissed)
kitty litter works but i live in home owner's assosiation and they ticket me for leaving it on the street. i used some purple concentrate stuff from home depot (forgot name it's purple and says it for asphalt). it said to dilute it but used it straight. scrubbed + powerwashed. came out pretty good. i used it and diluted it once before and it looked the same.
I don't know about asphalt but I know for a fact that powdered dishWASHER soap with a little hot water and a scrub brush works great on concrete. DishWASHER soap is super high detergent.
muratic acid works GREAT! on concrete but it's really nasty shit. wear a particle mask or something, i wraped a bandana around my face, and still was choking BAD. i almost puked a few times. be careful here
I use that for washing my hands after a day of working on greasy parts. Cut's right through and the 10 grit feel helps move the grease around.
A cutting torch also works ,use about a #4 tip and heat the area the resulting mess will hide the stains.
One way is to get some portland cement and put a light covering of dry (don't let it get wet) cement over the stain and it will draw it out eventually. Check these links for some other ideas that may work: http://www.ehow.com/how_9136_remove-oil-grease.html http://www.ehow.com/how_113258_clean-oil-spots.html
I had an old timer show me this trick it seems to work well. a). spray the area with water add dishwashing liquid, then scrub. b). cover the area over the oil spot with newspapers. c). Spray the newspapers with water until wet. when the newspapers dry it will pull the oil up out of the driveway. Good luck.
At a gas station I worked at, we'd get kitty litter, a push broom and some Tide. Put the kittly litter down, brush the kitty litter bach and forth over the stain until the stain is dry, Scoop up the litter, then wet stain. Sprinkle on Tide (or other powereded laundry soap). Take the same broom and scrub the area, rinse and repeat until it's clean enough. Who'd waste even cheap vodka on a stain??!?! Cheap vodka is what you give annoying relatives... It give's 'em a headache and they go away quicker.
