Last Sunday morning, March 20th @ 10:00 AM fellow HAMB'r and Poor Boy member 'Elderberry' had a garage gathering at his place.
I sent out the invatation via email to all of those in the Central West Florida area that I have email addresses of, and we had 24 cars show up! If all of the guys that came that day were to have there HotRod or Custom done and drivable, we would have had 35 cars.
We meet several new friends from the Tampa area that have some really cool rides, and we plan on staying in touch with them from now on. The amount of guys with tradional style cars either done or in the building process is really amazing around here. When we started this club, we thought there were just a few, but as I have continued to pimp what we are doing, the word just continues to spread and new friends keep coming out.

Glenn, great job on the photos! These Sunday get-togethers are sure a fun and relaxing way to get connected with folks you haven't met before too. A big "thank you" to Ed for hosting and providing the grub. Lots of cool cars and parts to drool over. And, thanks to the Tampa guys that came up to join us. You guys have some cool rides.
Good point about networking, Glenn. When we started discussing finding guys with "traditional" style hot rods, we wrongly assumed there probably weren't too many in this area. With strong pimpin' on your part, we are discovering more like-minded people all the time. The credit belongs to you, my friend, for hooking us all up. Thank you for all the effort. Mike

  18. Does that white shirt make me look fat?

My back is fine now. See ya Saturday PBs!

Yeah, what Mike said! Glenn is the guy beating the bushes getting the traditional guys together, his enthusiasm is contagious.

Glenn, if you were 40 years younger, a HELL of a lot better looking, and a woman... I'd do ya. :D :D

    You're welcome.:D

Laid back bunch we are, we just want to have a good time and share ideas and swap parts. We don't make our gatherings all day events because everyone has a life to take care of.
Get busy and bring out your HotRod or Custom!

Nice job as usual Glenn. Just reallized you took some of the best pics of my Krypt deVille. I'll have to copy and archive them, Thanks.

Had a great time at Ed's. It was the way most Sundays should be.
Ed is a very interesting fellow. Very kool collection of cars and projects. There are alot of gears turning and whirring under that quiet exterior presented to us as "Ed".

It was good seeing and meeting the guys that came up from Tampa. Some bitchn' rides they have. I came away with some inspirations for one of my projects. Hope to see them around again.

Hey Glenn, did you ever think that if your current job ever fizzles out that you could look into becoming a professional HAMB correspondent ? :D Or you could just use those hours you waste sleeping every night. That's got to be at least 4 or 5 hours wasted every day.
You could be the Walter Cronkite or Paul Harvey of HAMB. "And now you know the rest of the story".

Well I'm not getting anything done sitting her on this infernal electronic distraction. I gotta go out to the shop and look busy making noise.
