What's happenin'? New guy here. My meager credentials are posted in the 'New to the HAMB' forum. This is a great site! Thought I'd start by contributing a couple of pics. The wife and I just got back from a trip deep into the Rocky Mountains. We like to stick to the backroads. We ran across these gems in a couple of old mining towns. Nothing pre-30 but some neat 40's, 50's & 60's stuff. Enjoy! '49 merc more-door located in Empire, CO. - $1750/offer. Good body shell. A little rust in the rockers but the floor structure was fine. Interior, including dash was missing. Lots of stuff in the trunk. '57 Chev and '49? Cad located in Tabernash, CO. visible from Hwy. 40. Trucks anyone? Located in Blackhawk, CO. The '53-'54 looks solid but missing drivers door. Maybe it's in the bed or underneath. Across the river and up the hill I could make out a C-cab truck hidden behind the trees. Sorry, no pics. Mack? This '53-'54 commands a $3300 price tag! This gorgeous '47 Chev is selling for a measley $2300. I'll bet they like fishing the rivers and lakes too! No prices on the rest of 'em. Mopar to ya! Picture a huffed and injected cammer behind the cab! I can fix it! My dad's a TV repairman! He's got the ultimate set of tools!
'57 Chev and '49? Cad located in Tabernash, CO. visible from Hwy. 40. Mack? Located in Fraser, CO. This would make quite the car hauler! I drive by these everyday on my way to work. I know the history of the Cadillac and the Mack.
I have checked out the trucks in blackhawk. Since they redid the highway there is no way to get them out of the creekbed unless you have a large crane.
