HAMB meet & greet in conjunction with the Bombs Away Bash, June 2<SUP>nd</SUP> in Peoria. I see lots of local people on the HAMB, but havent had a chance to meet everyone. Guessing a lot of you are in the same boat. What better way of getting everyone together than Cars, Bars, Bands, and the HAMB could you ask for more? WTF why is everybody having their shows on the same day? Blacktop Barons , Rust Revival and now this?
We were smart enough not to have a show that day. I don't think we'll rumble, we will be at the Rust Revival!
yea man, bummer.... Peoria would be totally do-able for us.. i guess you know where i'll be . if you end up changing the date for some reason ( or have another get-together) be sure to let us know. -RP
I can't speak for the name or the date, I just met these guys the other day... I just wanted to meet some fellow HAMBers and thought this would be a great chance to do that. AND... it's in the evening, so you could always do the shows during the day and cruise over to Peoria afterwards.... Kamp

yup. 100 miles round trip minimum... Put 60,000 miles on my diesel ram in less than 2 years, and nearly 20,000 miles on my beater cherokee in the last year... gotta move closer, but that brings up another whole set of issues....
Ya when we were looking at the calendar back in Feb/March there were no shows listed on that day. ****s that there are so many great shows scheduled for the same day. Should be a great time we are looking forward to meeting some more Gear Head'n Flatlanders. So much to do in one day and so little time! ha ha ha Rust Revival Blacktop Barons Bombers Billetproof Detroit Reliability Run in Indy I think I am going to have to work on Saturday anyway so that makes the decision pretty easy! Ha Ha Ha You all need to mark the Rock N Rods show in Bloomington, Illinois on your calendar though. It is July 21 and 22 www.rocknrodson66.com The latest I heard is that there will also be a row of "survivor" customs as they are now, unrestored. The Trendero, Milk Truck, and I believe the Victorian will be there. plus the bands and whatnot. I may try to sneak over to Peoria if I get out of work early enough. The Resinators are cool. I used to have them play my party when I still had it. You need to round out the selection and have Demolition Derby play as well. The greatest rock and roll band to ever come out of Lexington, Illinois!

Bombs Away Bash is at night and in East Peroia, IL. Too bad Asbury, Missouri (HAMB Drags) isn't closer...we could try and do both?! Maybe next year!?! See the rest of you in Illinois...
Once again checked all the calendars seen no conflicts so we made the reservation and printed the fliers. Hope some of you guys can make it, if you have not had an opportunity to see the Afterdarks in action these guys rock and are worth seeing. We have had a real good responce so far so we look forward to meeting alot of other flatlanders. This is a no ******** show so I think you'll find we are a laid back group of guys hope to see ya there.
wow, i didnt realize this thread was from last year! oops! anywho, yeah, its too bad ill be at the drags, but im takin the whole fam on our first mini vaction, and will be gone from weds thur sunday....so theres no way i can make it.... the hamb drags is the same weekend every year...just so ya know....
Yes, I revived this old post from last year...So there. Breeder, you have fun with the Mrs and little ones! I'll see you next time around the track... I also knew the HAMB Drags are schedule that weekend, but I gotta support my home state of IL... Hopefully, my "Bomber Kustom" will be road ready by then...stay posted?!?
