well we got our new 32 FORD BB shop truck home the other day.today we did some pressure washing and here it is in all its glory. -danny
awesome. just throw a warmed up flatty in it, signwrite the doors, and its done. Ive got a 32 truck body, and a line on some big truck guards...now your giving me ideas..
That's awesome. Its also the color I'm wanting to do my Dubble A in, along with a silver/aluminum colored frame. That's slick, and I wish mine was that close to being done.
Are you going to leave the running gear stock? I have a 34 BB and want to keep the old wheels but go to a newer brake system, and was wondering what you were going to do about the mechanical brakes. That 5 lug pattern is really bigger than most drums will accomodate.
Larry, we still have your truck. Danny is going to use the cab off of the other BB we have because it is painted and has all gl*** and interior in it plus it has PETINA. This makes 5 trucks we have now may have to start a trucking co. or have a sell. Bruce
i was thinking of a flathead with a 39 box and a gear venders overdrive.the overdrive will fit in the space between the trans and the rearend torque tube.as for the brakes,i saw a 32BB truck at the deuce day show that had air brakes mated to the stock mech.brakes under the cab.i may look into that.if not i will convert them into hyd.like i have done in the past on a 31AA truck. -danny
larry we can't talk about e-bay.the last thread we replyed to with e-bay in it got pulled.but yes it is. -danny
Danny, I love the truck. All it needs are signs on the doors, some stake sides for the bed, & a big canvas to cover the cargo. JH
Cool , looks like it is already rollin 20's or should I say "D"'s in Houston. I like big trucks Rusty
i may be showing my "whiteness" but i think it's "DUBS" here in the big city. i'm putting new bearings in the NOS spinners i found.don't worry,i'l keep you posted on my progress. -danny
Does anyone make reproduction side boards for the bed on this truck? Wheelbase is 131 1/2 inches? -Bruce-
Your shop truck rules. Whenever I hear people talk about their shoptruck its usually a "pretty" truck which I wouldn't want to put my dirty feet in. While yours screams load me up and use me. Very utilitarian what it is supposed to be.
strangley enough..the gaurds i may be getting have sideboards too.. they have a diamond pattern embossed on them. if I get them and they are ok..you are welcome to them..postage will **** but hey theyre free! PM me.
no.they had a 151"wheel base that you could build a car carrier with, but ours is too short.we have a brookville roadster body that we are going to strap down on the bed when we want to jack with people. -danny
