That's awesome. Its also the color I'm wanting to do my Dubble A in, along with a silver/aluminum colored frame. That's slick, and I wish mine was that close to being done.

Are you going to leave the running gear stock? I have a 34 BB and want to keep the old wheels but go to a newer brake system, and was wondering what you were going to do about the mechanical brakes. That 5 lug pattern is really bigger than most drums will accomodate.

  11. Larry, we still have your truck. Danny is going to use the cab off of the other BB we have because it is painted and has all gl*** and interior in it plus it has PETINA. This makes 5 trucks we have now may have to start a trucking co. or have a sell.

i was thinking of a flathead with a 39 box and a gear venders overdrive.the overdrive will fit in the space between the trans and the rearend torque tube.as for the brakes,i saw a 32BB truck at the deuce day show that had air brakes mated to the stock mech.brakes under the cab.i may look into that.if not i will convert them into hyd.like i have done in the past on a 31AA truck.

    Danny,

    I love the truck.

All it needs are signs on the doors, some stake sides for the bed, & a big canvas to cover the cargo.

    Your shop truck rules.

Whenever I hear people talk about their shoptruck its usually a "pretty" truck which I wouldn't want to put my dirty feet in. While yours screams load me up and use me. Very utilitarian what it is supposed to be.

no.they had a 151"wheel base that you could build a car carrier with, but ours is too short.we have a brookville roadster body that we are going to strap down on the bed when we want to jack with people.:D
