Hey guys i gotta 51 ford f1 with a bad carb. I've been to all the auto part stores and no one can get me a new one. I don't know where else to look. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Thanx guys
Well I bought a kit for it but as soon as i unscrewed the top it fell apart due to the case being cracked
There are many out there to buy if you need to be original. Another option is to buy the adapter from early Ford 3-bolt base carb to a more modern 4-bolt base carb.
I'm bumping this because i'm in the same predicament. I have a '51 shoebox with the flat 6. The carb all but dissolved after an overnight soak in carb cleaner. I have a Holley 1920 from a slant six but it has too big of a footprint for the intake. Will a 94 fit in place of this little two-bolt, one-barrel? I dont need to be original, just use something that will fit! Thanks for any help!
