I did not realize that was the car you had been working on. You did a great job. A+++++++ Looks a whole lot safer but still untouched in the same sentence.

    Thanks guys.

I was able to do this car this way because of Miles.

We talked a lot about the different details, and he allowed me to do a lot of things the old way.
Eventhough that took a lot more time...

And he kept finding cool Parts at Swap Meets...:)

Great work. Great recap. Another item you did that I think turned out perfect but you missed highlighting in your text is the firewall work. There was a post on it if I remember right and it can be seen in the middle pic in the last set.
The hole thing turned out killer.
    Thanks again Alex.

Miles, Alex, that car is unbelievably cool. The color, stance, etc., etc.. Unreal.
Alex, the ****tershield and engine mount is great as is the tin work. Your work is always impressive!

Great job fellers, can't wait to see this'un in person.

  15. gVery nice work Alex,, I saw the car a year or so before Miles got it and man it really need some help to be usable. A cool old time capsule but nothing I would ever want to take down the track.

And yes, the vintabe Gotha speed parts do RULE!

Miles has made some very good choices in people to work in his cars.

I remember when this car resurfaced and I held my breath thinking it would end up a typical STREET ROD. My fears can now be put to rest, you've done a super job bringing it back to function without destroying it's character. Huge ATTABOY for you Alex.

  18. Damn nice job/work! You saved it, and made it way better. Some of the guys should take note. If you find a survivor, build it "up" instead of down into a bigger piece of **** than when you found it. GREAT job.

STOP ALL WORK RIGHT NOW!!!! I will come finish. I just need those rocker covers. If you decide you want to run Weiand, Edelbrock, Fenton, Edmunds instead give me a PM. Man those are cool. Nice metal work! I've always wondered how many guys say that? Eventhough they farm it out. Keep up the killer work. If you need some parts for that side shift let me know. I just picked up a crate of gears. Good luck on the rest. Tim
