I just bought this Buick last weekend. As you can see, its a 56 Century, 322-dynaflow. It needs some little things here and there, but it runs and drives. I drove the hell out of it last weekend, and enjoyed every inch! Wait...that didn't sound right, but you know what I mean! I can't wait until my son is big enough to enjoy it with me. I'm not going to change much on it. I like it the way it sits. Let me know what y'all think.

Congrats, nice looking buick. I like the stance of the car. Aside of chroming the bumpers I really wouldn't do much else to it. I'll watch for you since we are in the same neck of the woods. Be sure also not to miss the Spinout at Gougler Park in Brimfield June 9th (see post here: http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=183577&highlight=gougler ) It is a great opportunity to meet fellow HAMBers and hang out with like minded people.

And I agree with AHotRod, I think your son is already enjoing it!

I'm bustin my hump trying to get it ready for the main roads. I have been tooling around the back streets here in Hartville, but there are a few more kinks I have to get sorted out. I will be in Colorado this weekend, but I hope to have time next week to unkink it. I will give it my all to be there. Thanks for the heads up.

Cool! One of my next wanabe projects some day. My Grandpa had a 55 Century back when I was a kid(nearly new then) and I've always loved the 55 thru 57 Buicks.

Cool Buick! I remember bein' knee high to a gr***hopper at thinking how cool it was that my aunt's '56 had it's year on the grille emblem...:) I've loved these cars ever since. I can't do Brimfield....we'll be racin' the '33 Chevy coupe at Oakshade Speedway that weekend but hope to see ya'll somewhere over the summer.

That's a neat piece! Get some seat belts in it for you and the wife and a babyseat for Jr. and you're ready to cruise.

Man I would love to, but that may be a little to far with a unproven car. My AAA is only good for a 100 mile tow. I'll have to see how far along I am about a week ahead of time.
