Hey I saw these on ebay, are they any good. I need to replace the tires on my f100 and want WWW but they are pricey, so it's this or I get out the grinder and make some

They're actually really common. Go for it.

I use those, the only drama is getting them to seal around the beads...once thats done the are great, cheap and can be transferred to your next set of tyres

I used them in my '53 and I hated them. They keep annoying noise and wear up the tires.

this subject has been beat to death.do a search for "portawalls" or "portowalls" or "port a walls" or any other variation and i'm sure something'll turn up.as for saying their quality,i've had them on my ride for years without a problem and yes,i'm running radials.yes, they flap when the tires move but i dont really have a problem with them when the car is parked because i'm running tall tires.i also have said before that i like them because even after my tires were slashed (a month after i got them!) i just popped the ports off and put them on new tires.i didnt get mine off ebay, though.got em from lucas tire at the springfield ohio swapmeet.the only bad thing was i had to search for a tire place that'd do it.luckily there was one in my old home town who'd put em on for me and he made sure his guys put them on with clean hands!

I just put some on my 54 Chevy last week. I bought them from Lucas tire and they are half the price of the one's on ebay. In fact the picture on e-bay was the exact same picture off the Lucas Tire website.

Has anyone heard of a rubbery whitewall you can paint on? My Grandfather suggested it, but I can't find anything like it.

A fellow in Iceland makes whitewall paint. Must have been talked about numerous of times on this board. His website is Here.
I've got a couple of cans coming my way at the moment from him. A guy from Belgium on my Dutch Pre66-forum has used it on the tires from his Buick and it looks awesome. Here's his topic:

I watched my father paint his on his 50 Buick in 1956 with that rubberized stuff. (He was a sign painter so he could freehand it.) I didn't care for it even then.
