Speaking of crazy buses, has anyone seen the Topsy Turvy bus?

Thats a cool bus, but its not a Furturliner.

Its someones hack of an old bus. Thats the greenhouse from a '50s Chevy scabbed to the roof. You can still see the inner door structure.

Its no Zeppelin, but it would be a neat project.

The greenhouse is Hudson, not Chevy.

It reminds me of the cartoons that Kanter puts in their catalog.

the bus you are talking about was called custom family cruiser it was built by a man in his drive way from a bus and alot of old car parts, When it was finished it was even used in the charlotte thanksgiving day parade. I would go over to my uncles house every sunday morning with my dad and we would p*** the mans house, he built it in his driveway. IF you know anyone that worked at holmanand moody back when they first moved to the airport location they can tell you about it. The man lived just down the street. He drove it for many years , i went into the service and lost track of it. When it was painted the lower portion was dark blue the top was white. all the chrome was like new and it was really cool , brings back some old memories . I guess it was finished it the early 60's.

Now that's what I'm talking about. You lived near where my uncle lived. I live in Hickory. Hearing your story brought back memories for me too! We might have watched the same hot rods in Charlotte through the years. Thanks.

I just found the long lost photo of this bus that I wanted to post a while back. Just wanted everyone to see this angle before you mentally put it to rest. Thanks.
