Nice pix. You have the only pic I've seen of the green Model A, Fri cruise, pg10 pic 150. That was a great example of an A cpe. Talked with him some, did the build himself (great roof fill), he is a HAMBr too.

WOW..all I can say is WOW!!, You were quite the busy man,.. hows your button finger..

I had the chance to ride through Paso back in March, and for those who havent been there its a nice little town, with that said, where do they fit all these cars? One of these days... Id like to get back over there, and try to time it around this show.

    Thanks for the shots!

    Thanks the all the shots..

For the others,, take a look around this site, some great show shots as well as some very interesting speciality rides in the rework process (Byers Customs) that you only see at events like Pebble Beach. Including pic a bitchin Cunningham (the prototype)

I believe that this Chopped Chevy with Lincoln head lights was a TopTen Custom in the early '60's and is from the Vancouver, B.C. area. At my age I can't remember the original builder nor the new owner but I know I awarded him a coke cooler at one of my events around 1993. The car was in primer then.

This Chevy's incredible, reminds a bit of Carl Casper's hardtopped Ford.

This Model A coupe ended up being my favorite car at the whole show. It wasn't that it made some sort of extreme, visionary statement or anything...it just had that subtle, almost SUBLIMINAL air of elegance and style to it! An odd color that came off as a bit weird at a glance, but hooked me in and sealed the deal after a double-take! I kept going back to see it again and again...and loved it more each and every time!

Thanks for shootin' the photo...still waitin' to develop the ones I took!

    :)

nwrust...The trip down was around 15 hrs drive time over 2 days because we took Hiway1 from Montery to Morro Bay and around 12 hrs home. It is well worth the drive, but I would take an extra day or two in Paso next time.

Fat Hack...That Model A is a nicer version of a Special Coupe like a friend of mine is building...It was very cool.

Kustombuick, thanks for sharing. Hope you don't mind but I changed my avatar, using your photo of my truck at Paso. Thanks again.

Looks sorta like an old Mitsubishi 2.6 inline four out of their old RWD stuff from the 80s...their own products plus the ones they built for Dodge...like the Ram 50 mini-trucks and the MCA Jet. Hard to tell with the chrome and stuff.

Could also be a Toyota motor of some sort??? Those are probably more popular in California.

That motor is Toyota 2tc according to something I read about the car elsewhere.
