When I seen this shoebox it grabbed me and would not let me go. Any info on this car or more photos would be great. Thanks Skip.
I do not know the owners name but I believe that is a Loco Bandito car from Bakersfield.. I agree, probably one of the baddest shoebox I've seen in a while.
Here's another one Royal,,, I really wish I would've snapped a pic of the interior to give to my upholstery guy. Bryan
That was a great looking shoebox for sure!! We got to see it before the show in a motel parking lot as well as in the park on the day of the show. Here's a couple pics from the motel without any shadows over it or people crowded around it for ya...
Hate to think, but the ELVIS car he built (or paid to have built) last year is on his website with a $1,000,000 headline!!
If you look at my Paso Robles Pics you'll see a close up with the Phone number ! And if someone buys it, I'd sure love a ride ! Rob
I sold the guy some of the mini trim rings so I've got his phone number and adress. If you want to talk to him I could call and ask if its ok to give you his number. Jimmy
At first I thought it was a Sedan but from the rear it looks like a coupe? Is it a coupe or a sedan? Either way it looks nice.
I'd have to agree. The blue works for me but the licks, while unique and beautifully layed on, are not well layed out; too many, too much. Less is more, one of the things I like most about John D.'s builds, that's what's missing here. The craftsmanship looks second to none; great perportions, great stance and really cool wheels! Hey, what do I know! I'm just an observer! I don't mean to criticize, that appears to be one hell of a paint job, miles deep and smooth as glass. I'd love to see it in person.
I agree, the overall look and the chop are beautiful but the flames throw it off for me. I'd really like to see more pics of the interior. Thanks
Just goes to show how different our preferences might be... I don't really like it all. (Hope not a hamber owns it)
Although normally I would agree with not liking the paint but when you see it in person it pops and looks great. These pictures do not do it justice at all.
three things.. modern window rubber/no trim around front and rear glass screams eighties.. roof into sail panel looks overfilled/no definition there..i think a great chop should still have some 'crease' or definition like a stock car, otherwise it looks like the the whole things been bondoed in. flames are foul/eighties colours. sorry for all the eighties hating
The chop doe's look good but I'm not a big fan of the color combo looks like a blond chick painted but that's my two cents. lol
that does look like a Loco Bandito car. This is another one from Paso for reference. Anyway, that shoebox is badass in my opinion
