I have a 26 Chrysler, and on the gauge panel is this thing with a bunch of colored jeweled glass in it. What is it for?
If it spins you can put some lil chinga derries hangin from the windsheild, and a fluffy dash cover some curb feelers and have a dico in ur ride!!! Hhahah Just kidding. I have had a rough assed day and thought that might supply a good laugh. I really dont know what the heck it is...
They do light up.. I just picked one up at an Estate sale. It has a bulb socket inside. It does not appear to spin though. Mine looks just like yours... EVILT
I don't know what it is or what it does, but it looks dangerous and highly toxic. I think you should send it to me immediately for proper disposal.....
Dash light. The little jewels light up and look neat for that personal touch. Find them around for the Model A's. Neal
Its an aftermarket dash light from the 20s~30s ... they have a light inside and when ya turn it on it sends little colored rays of light around in the cab. Cant believe few people know what it is... if ya hate it, I'll buy it from ya.... Ill run it in my daughters "t" roadster.
it is...and you'll need to upgrade your charging system so it puts out 1.21 jigga watts in order to get it lit up. otherwise, you'll start blowing fuses.
Thats either an ultra rare do-it-youself staging kit for street drags or just a dash light.............
That's what we did for psychedelic mushrooms back before the sixties...had to make them from old car parts. Times were tough, but we got along somehow. You kids don't know...rant, rant, rant, etc. Common 1920's accessory, commonly found on '28-9 Fords especially...cars had dashlights with rotatable hood to shine on the gauge faces or turn down for map reading.
