...and Ill tell you somthing else,if my friends ever let me use powertools again, that Foster better watch out!Hey Slag,.....Do you think I can borrow your drill?
Man Nads, Cole IS the white Michael Jackson, I thought you knew that? Umm except minus the monkey and theme park at his house, Cole is to low key for that.........
Ryan fantastic interview, thanks.Wonhunglo, your recollection speaks volumns about what makes a true legend, taking the time to inspire another enthusiast, young or old,is the true measure of a legend.
Respect. We all face issues in life, and I admire the man not just for his skills, his vision, or his p***ion, but for the fact that he keeps forging his own path, despite the world around him. His life, his vision, his path... I'm inspired to see him mention his 'output' reflecting where he's at....humble, and refreshing to see..... Reality is I feel he would be 'screwed over' if ever in a m*** corporate environment, and whilst it might **** to feel like a wasted talent, the road less travelled will yeild it's own reward....so keep at it, we're seeing that already. Rockstar with a torquewrench.....keep the flame alive... Cheers, Drewfus
Today a dude at work mentioned that his 12 year old son looked up to Boyd. They are rather new to the hot rod scene so I laid out a few worthy (and living )hot rod heroes. Cole and the Kennedy brothers are solid 1 and 2 in my book. I am not sure who is 1....or 2, but, I have a world of respect for each of them.
Awesome. I've wanted to see a Mad Max cafe racer looking custom bike for a long time. Looks even better than I imagined. Dude's got great hair too. No need to kiss his *** anymore than that, you guys seem to have it covered. Cole, great work, keep it up.
Cole rules. He has good hair, great taste in cars, and his wife is fine as ****. (no disrespect intended) He is a living legend.
I am always impressed by his personal restrain to not OVER do his rides. His body of work is easily the most impressive of anyone in the last 10 years.
I liked when he humiliated Big Schwag at the Biker Build off thing, that was cl***ic. Nice work Cole, keep it up.
Cole I hope you read all these post. Why you ask, this is proof that no tv show or 800 dial a rod outfit will ever pay you the respect you deserve than what has been written here. I know you feel like you are getting the short end of the stick but your work and affect on this hot rod world will last alot longer than you or I will on this plant. Thank you for being the craftsmen that you are and just keep building the cool stuff that you do. Hope my 2 cents helps.
Cole is one of the greats. And a nice guy to boot. He is one of the most talented metal shapers out there. Listened to a guy just getting into the hobby a few years back and gave great advice. It is great when someone regardless of their talent will take a few seconds to speak with anyone. Great interview.
It's yer ****ing hair Ant, you gotta get a stylist working on yer noggin', that South Florida strip mall haircut ain't gonna do it. Ya need fancy threads too, some nice **** from the Magic Mall.
Devotion Patience Loyalty Dedication Creativity = Greatness in all things Great interview ... Cole's definitely a ruler. thanks for the insight
A true legend! Cole Foster has built some of the finest examples past and present. His reputation precedes himself, and all without the fanfare from the press. In many ways I am glad that he hasn't been highlighted by the m*** media. I believe they would only **** him of the prestege he has built and attempt to cast his image for something he isn't. It amazes me that all of the following he has gained is simply from word of mouth. A modern day hero and artisan to boot; Cole sets the bar for others to strive after!
Thanks man, nothing wrong with your memory...Well, I had the right rant but the wrong car (that was an awesome Ford wasn't it?! didn't it have an SOHC BB innit?) Cole, write me back, I want to buy the frame, tank, and wheels....
Yup rad car Cammer mill and all. Still have the issue of HotRod with it on the cover. It replaced his back flamed 33/4 coupe.
I've been into bikes since forever. I first saw Cole's work about 5-7 years ago in a bike mag & have been a fan ever since. Cole's work is outstanding & unique. It gives "regular guys" something to shoot for. Great interview, keep up the great work.
best car guy I have ever met.Prince a**** men... could never say enough good things about him. My best car/bike memories are from inside his shop
the first time i ever heard of Cole was a small pic of his 54 in marhyde primer in custom rodder .....RULER,....
