Wow, there were cars at the show? huh... :D I was running my *** off and didnt see half of what I'd liked to.

Great shots Kirk, I'll have to get some for the Archives here at Billetproof World HQ.

J-Bone rocked, I stopped in and talked to him for a while, he was just out there doing his thing for fun. He definitely made the Billetproof DVD. I'll check in with him before next years show, but he said he would be back.

Great stuff at this years show. The Best Bike story was priceless.

How about repeating it for those of us who didn't hear the story ?

    DOH !!!

The owner bought the bike for $800, stripped the Fat bob harley tanks off it, took off the fenders, did some work here and there to make her road worthy and brought it out to the show. The front end alone is worth a couple grand, and the rest of it was well done.

I'm surprised no one has said it yet this year, but this whole "my shifter is bigger than yours" contest is getting RIDICULOUS!

sorry, back to on topic talk...

I have a question. was it a requirement that the winners of the various categories be in Primer ???

    Kirk,
Again, your "snapshots" are up to their usual excellent quality. Great shots, composition and selection of cars and bikes. That's the first time I've seen one of the the new "Triumphs" chopped. Nice bike, ugly engine. The cream colored '34 5-window, is that the old Granitelli coupe? My memory is vague on that car.

    Thanks for the great post.

    only for Best Primer. :D

Non-primer winners - Best Metal Flake, Best Pinstriping, Real Mill, Best Panel Beater, Best Kustom, Best Bike... and I dont think the Jive Bomber winner had any paint OR primer left, mostly rust.

Best of Show was half primer, half paint.
