I've traced the history of my 5W back to Michigan in the early '80's.
It was purchased from a guy in Bel Air, Mi. in 1981, out of Hemmings,
and went to Bill Varro in Westport, Ma. Does anyone know the early
history of this car? It was chopped 3" at the time, and has since been
chopped another 1 1/2". I'm trying to piece the history together.

    Scott,
Bill Varro said he bought it from a guy in Bel Air in '81.
It was a complete car with a 4 bar, and a newer Olds engine in it.
It has a 1" v'eed square tube brace at the bottom of the dash.
He pulled the Olds and replaced it with a 350 / Muncie.
After 2 other owners, i bought the body in '02 from Tom Biesiada
    in NJ.

A picture would probably be worth a thousand words right about now...

I have dealt with him a few times ... and always got what I paid for ... But he knows what the stuff is worth too ... :D
