Here are some pics from the NZHRA National Hot Rod show last weekend. There was a dedicated room for traditional rods, so that's where most of these pics are from. The lighting in this area was fairly low, but that was part of the appeal, as it made it look more like a museum than a car show. Here's the first batch ...
I love the "Rocket" and the display of flat motors. You guys have had that stuff long enough and it is time to send them back home. And that would be my house! Thanks for posting the photos. They are great.
Thanks, I was hoping someone would post some pics for those of us that couldn't make it. Have heard from home the show was very good and Greg Stokes needs to be congratulated for organising the very good Nostalgia display. Russell
Russell, Thanks, I appreciate your comments, the Nostalgia Display was very well received and that was a great feeling. Made even better with Ralph Wrights speech at the awards ceremony congratulating me. That meant alot as he is like the rod father of NZ. Simon, great pics - even one of my ch***is. Thanks. Greg
Tell Colin to take it easy with the polishing, look at all the lint he's leaving on the ground! Great pic's, thanks for posting!
I have this picture from back in March, but it's probably not what you are looking for It belongs to Steve Flexman from East Bay Rods.
Pics don't do any justice to that 36 it was real nice, awsum colour... Thanks for the post Simon i figured Dale would have had about 500 pics to post.... all in all a good looking show, I would like to have seen it advertised a little more and some more bods in the door to make it a real $ucess shame really.
