hell, some people take a perfectly good paint job and rub through it and call it on purpose to make it look "barn fresh" even though it's a fibergl*** car.
so. like I said, why not, it's yours. and the paint looks good too. but, I'd go one step further and put flame throwers on em.

Not that's my opinion counts for much...But I would say no.

 

It's not as bad as that engine swap minitruck in town with stacks coming out of the hood.....

 

First of all, if I had that truck and you had a feather down your pants, we'd both be tickled. If it were lowered and ran some lake pipes, I'd have to go slap my mama out of excitement. 57' is my favoreeet F100 and you're headed toward just the look I would have, too. Yeah that's right. No stacks. Use lake pipes between the wheels. I think bellflowers would have to be too short on that one.

 

I think you have been hanging out with the whinnys to much. It is starting to wear off on you, I say dropped axle and drive the wheels off of it

 

I don't like stacks myself. Right now Im fixin' to ditch the ones the previous owner put on my '40 Ford truck.

If the truck is made more into a rod I think sometimes it looks cool depending on the truck.

 

Very nice truck. The stacks look old school to me. They were popular when I was a kid in the late 50's and early 60's. Most guys ran them without mufflers and they sounded wicked. Dont forget the tin can covers for when it rains! Mostly though, I say yes cause everyone else says no.

 

I have ALWAYS hated this...except for some reason now. I like 'em...
I say weld some gun sights on 'em...or add old bomb -like stabilizer fins to 'em, with them higher by about 2 inches, and tapering in to the lip...but, maybe I'm just sick of seeing the same thing over and over, because its safe, and everyone has already done it, so you know its cool...
