I would think that the only one I'd even try experimenting with is the metallic, the rest are plastics or polyesters, only good for arts & crafts. Even the metallic is epoxy coated, so it may melt (or fog up) in the paint solvents. I used to work for an arts & crafts supplier, and I had to figure out a way to meter and package (plastic) glitter... It gets in everything and floats everywhere. Try Roth, OSR or HOK.
You are correct... If you go through their products it says which ones are solvent resistant. The ones that are should be fine. Limited sizes though, so I see no point in ordering from them instead of Roth metalflake or Kustom.com, I like the flake from both those companies and they're alot cheaper than HOK.
The reason I'm asking is I don't know **** about metalflake or painting it. I came across some old boat builders supply in unopend containers and this is the brand. So it was used for painting b*** boats is all I know right now.
Best way to test anything your unsure of is to throw some in some thinner and see what happens to it. If it goes to ****, don't spray it!
