I am looking for a old cl***ic metal boat. What are some of the old time names of the boats? We been going to Weatherby lake in Missouri and all you see is on metal boats with 5 HP to 9.9 Hp motors. I am going to find some pics.
Try looking at Feather Craft...they are awesome. Here is a link: http://www.feathercraftboats.com/ Good luck! Ebert
First thing is you have to figure out what you consider "cl***ic". Is it a like a wood-hull Chris-Craft, low freeboard ski boat, flatbottom, late 50s/60s gl*** hull? There are boards & mindsets for each type.
Old names on cl***ic metal boats? Try the ***anic, the Britannic, and the Olympic. They'll keep you busy.
The Mullins Company made many fine steel boats from the early part of the 1900s into the 30s at least. The same folks who made the Mullins Red Cap Utility Trailer and those military aviation wing and belly tanks everyone loves so much on the lakes and the salt.
You know what's really cool, those old beautifully finished wood Chris Craft boats with flatheads. I can't remember the name of that style, but they are really cool. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Chj1RZZYbsA&mode=related&search=
