Well i thought i would try to switch up to something more practical for the amount of traveling i'm planning on doing since i moved to tacoma.i got this 53 chevy that had a cool chop, interesting headlights, and a 350/350.good start.the stock suspension and brakes had to go (scary, not to mention the 4x4 stance) first,so i called alex gambino and got a mustang II,and one of his notches.i had bags and a 4 link,so now we got to work.the crew was me,yankeeSOB,and speedy3's as usual.here's some random pics.[IMG]

so i still need to rewire it,finish the wheel tubs and trunk sheetmetal, make a new battery tray, and of course get rid of those rear wheel openings.as it is now i would need to unbolt the back bags to remove a wheel.crap.and a bunch of other crap.i will post some more updates as i go...

Yeah, it was a real pig before. :D Looks good. I kinda' dig the reworked rear wheel well. Of course, as someone that has experienced the rear tire wrasslin' match on a too low '54 with stock openings, I could see why you might want to change them up.

    wicked....

I've been thinking of painting my truck that same color but was hitting "painters block" when it came to the roof color. (I thought that all the hammer blue would be way too much) now you got me thinkin black with a silver pearl...thanks for the pics...

man..my roadster had more trailer miles than actual driving miles!!!! haha i would have driven it up,but it was cheaper to ship my bike and my car at the same time!! but i will say this......a properly dialed in early ford straight axle suspension with an f-1 box (on an early car of course)handles twice as good as a fancy mustang II with manual R+P (on a postwar car)...oops-did i just start some crap?
