Those are real big Stromberg 2 bbls. I don't know what they came on. Not the 43 Ford V8 they are on now. Yes it's in my backyard.

You know, it doesn't surprise me you're in Tucson. If there was ever a place one could readily scrape up Delortos, that (and Phoenix) would be it. :)

The three twos onmy '43 Ford are marked (as near as I can tell) NA-V50. also Parts List 380-1072. Also, Bendix Avation. South Bend, Ind. Also Repare Por Zenith-Lyon 6-57. If you need such a '43 Ford this one and two core engines are for sale $3000 here. You handle shipping. Head picture attached. Also Suzuki parts on Plymouth four.

  11. I did this for a friend, 3 german Zenith NDIX 32 on a 327 engine. Runs very fine. These carbs where used on Mercedes Unimog trucks, some early porsche and last but not least the german flathead truck engine. They have the same bolt pattern as the Rochester 2GC.

I was going to say, they look like airplane carbs. The NA-V50 is a 40s/50s carb, I believe. They made them in the UK and Australia, too if I'm not mistaken.

Intersting stuff. I was wondering if I could find something for the 283 I'm planning to build.

After some digging, you're sure to find some stuff, I'm sure. Try a motorcycle swap meet - lots of interesting carbs to be found there...

It's an SBC, man! Your bolt-on options are far greater than mine with my 318 Poly. And yes folks, I know where to get all the goodies for the polys, too.
