Looks like the show was a rousing success and I'm bummin' out that I missed it. I'll have to get the Packard or the Rambler on the road and scoot on down for next year's debauchery. You will have debauchery next year, right?

I am not sure if Billetproof hurt you. That is quite a distance away ( I think). I have been wanting to go there for the last few years but still have not made it. I have not heard anything about the Blacktop Barons show either. Also have not heard a lot on the other two. All I hear and read is that the Rust Revival is the place they ought to be.:)

    well, fwiw:

i've been to billitproof detroit once. i've been to the rust revival once. they are both great shows put on by first cl*** folks. i doubt, however, that there will be more than a half dozen rodders that will want to go to both and have to make a choice. i base that on the locations and the shows. while both shows are wonderful shows, in actuality they are a bit different and draw a slightly different crowd. the people who will have to decide are the ones who geographically and tastewise are right in between the two. i doubt that either will hurt the other. i hope not; kirk and todd both treated me waaaay better than i deserve.

    ok, was that worth $0.02???

prolly not, but it's my opinion. (but, as dennis miller used to say, i could be wrong)

You Kropdusters put on one great show.
It was well worth the long drive down there.
The location made the show, with old cars parked in front of old buildings, you felt like 1964???? Wayland is the perfect setting for a traditional show.
Got home Sunday evening and had lot of work to do this week.
But it was great motivation to get the 54 done, back to those floorboards this weekend.

im really bummed that the HOT ROD HUCKSTERS will not ever get ta play our show, but thats the breaks i guess!
i did hear a rumor that KIRK was tryin to buy the rights to the RUST REVIVAL!:D :p ;)

Of all the post about the Revival I have not seen one negative. That says a lot for the first effort. It can only grow frem here. Next time I'll bring my car and leave the mudercycle home. Mo. has a helmet law I didn't know about. (****S!)

The only negative thing i can say is,

Hell there is none, except it was way too much fun and going back to work on Monday was a pure let down. Damn monday really ****ed. :( Probably ****ed because the Kropdusters gave me and the girlfriend a great time. She said this show was so much better than all of the local **** up here.

    Hmmmm....

I've got a complaint about the Revival...THE BEER WASN'T FREE.. All that food from Todd's joint made me sleepy and fat.:p The folks there are too friendly for this loner. You made me stay up way past my normal bed time. I can't get my foot to stop tapping, from keeping beat with the music.:D A week later, and I've still got withdrawl symptoms. I don't think I'm going to recover from this, unless I get my confirmation back for next years gig.

"I might have to put on a disquise, so no one will recognize me" (Inside joke) :D :D

However...I did not go right back with the Roadburners, I went back over to Ill, and stumbled upon a car show in the park. You know the type, get out your polishing rag, set up you lawn chair and sit the rest of the afternoon. DUH. Only went to show me, that's not my thing,. The Rust Revival, you guys and gals from here at the H.A.M.B are where good things happen.

    Everyone drive safe...

    Breeder,
Don't change a thing. The show was awsome and the date should stay the same. Like they say "Build it and they will come"...this year was groovy and next year will be even better. I think you should have year pins, kinda like we used to have in Sunday School, or maybe just get the year tattooed on our foreheads :)...anyway....
    Thanks for the shirts, man.

Hell Todd, if I had known Shanna was that good lookin, I'd of made the trip up just to meet her...;)

Actually, I totally forgot about it until I saw Rusty this morning. Looks like I missed out. I'll remember next year though, especially after seeing that plate-sized pork loin sammich'. I might even make a trip up there yet this year, just to try out your restaurant...
