Binderrod,we spent more time driving there and back then we did there. I'll be heading out that way again.Beers on me. Burger-Coker tire,Tornel 7.00x16. Alliance deal-cheap and look dirt trackish. Just Dug,can't get past the force field around the black car.
yeah, but then only women could ride in it! eric...thats the funniest name ive ever heard man!!!! youll be drivin it to the next RR i hope??? that thing is lookin very fine bro!!very fine indeed! todd
Now that's funny! I thought that thing was going to get that old Stude motor you go from me years ago? Looks good.
they look very nice. i'll wait to hear how well they ride. with them being light truck tires, hopefully the sidewall isn't too stiff.
I'm with Doug on this one... Ricky Lakester? More like... Notyer Roadster!!! Get on that '32 or sell it to me at a loss.
K-member,the original RL had the Stude motor.I gave the motor to Chris. Larry sold of the parts this spring. So I'm doing this one just for fun. And maybe profit.Cuz I don't plan on keeping it.
Check it out! http://rides.webshots.com/album/90404002GZNDAk The main thing is the stance and the line. Looks good!
well, swapped in the 5" axle.and a mono spring,It needed to be lower in the front. Then I couldn't use the unsplit 34 wishbone..so put on a set of hairpins. Got it all painted and back together. I'll have more photo's before the weekend is over..
Bad picture, but the stance is much improved. I was going to leave the body in its bare metal glory. I think the paint fumes got to me. Painted it semi gloss black, and it looked horrible. So I'm trying to fix it right now.Why did I do that? I'll show you in a bit the outcome of my dizzy spell.
First it was paint chips...........now it's spray paint.....what's next - glue sniffing???? I like how you build cars.
