You did balance your tires after mounting, didn't you?

Shocks will fix that.Your rebound off the spring is making your wheels hop,The dampening action will smooth them right out.Could we see some other angle on that front end set up?Suicide front end may be understating it.

Absolutley add shocks. If you don't have them on the rear you need to add them there also.

Another blaring thing I see on you front end shot is the lack of solid mounting point for the flexible brake lines. The brake line will fail in shor order unless you add the secure mount. It looks like you will need to get longer brake lines in order to reach the frame rails where the hose needs to ne mounted.

    Good luck with your ride

I was told, if they are bias tires with tubes run a lower air pressure, bout 18-20 psi. Alignment check, also.

I have shocks, drum brakes, and bias w/tubes and between 66-69 mph they bounce but any thing above or below they are great. I usually run 70mph with no issue.

  8. I have a similar issue at the moment, my front tires are not true (have a high spot, or flat spot) and need to be cut true. Jack up the front end and spin the front wheels by hand. Look carefully from the side and if you see it go up, down, up, down then that is your problem and you need to have the tires trued. And it goes without saying that you need front shocks in good working order.

Shocks and a little radiator black or a grille to cover up that advertising logo will fix you up real nice.

Actually, I'm amazed that it takes 65 mph to produce wheel hop. Must have some mighty smooth roads up there in Mich.

With the front end stretched way out there, 4ft long drag link, long shackles on a 3leaf trailer spring & un~safe looking spring pearch.

It may be hard to make this front end safe & not bounce ... shocks WILL help, actually cant believe they werent installed in the build.

Check tires for true, wheels for bent, toe in, balanced tires, and for gods sake... mount the brake lines.

My opinion is that front end set up is SCAAAREYYYY !!

While were here, can I ask why do guys push the front end so far out ?? Whats the point or purpose ???

No offense but for your own safety that front end doesn't look safe at any speed.

  16. I had a Blazer that did that in the rear. Seems someone lowered the rear by removing a few leaves from the spring pack. I put a "full" spring pack in it and it went away. Your spring pack looks a little "light". Keep this in mind in case shocks don't fix all the bounce

What Groucho said!! You need some springs in there.. The distance from
the main leaf to to the second leaf is to wide. Add some leafs and some shocks and it will probably help alot.
