Here's a few pic of my new (and first) project 51 Merc and the frame I am modifying . It has been a great challenge so far, and I am learning a lot as I go. The chop was done before I got the car, and so far, all I've done is strip a donor car for the frame and modify the frame to fit the Merc. I have modified the ch***is with an "X" member to support the floor pan, as well as dropped spindles, new rotors and calipers and air ride suspension. That's just a drop in the bucket for the work that needs to be done, but I have a vision and am working hard to get there (eventually).

Here is a before and after on filling the tail lights. I haven't done much with the body yet other than shaving door handles and filling holes.
