Excellent photos! Thanks for sharing. Obviously by the quality of the builds that this segment of the automotive subculture is alive , well and growing. Even with all the new magazines popping up, they still don't really portray the hobby or lifestyle as healthy as we think, which I see it is.

The tri-power Pontiac powered Model A pick up (w/ the coffee can air cleaners) belongs to a gal from my car club (Rattlers) named Stacy. She did much of the work on the truck herself and got it road worthy just before heading out to Vegas. The truck made the trip with no problems.

The yellow F1 truck in the background is the heap I drove out there.

 

That car is a sectioned ford.I believe Anthony or one of the shifters now own it. It originally came out of Rose Hills CA near Whittier. Some dude bought who in turn sold it to Kevin (shifters)who in turn sold it etc. I believe it has a ford small block in it.Lot's of character, great car.
The old dude Irving that sold it had a HUGE collection of stuff some of which went to the bay area.

That's Anthony Castaneda's (Shifters) '36 Ford roadtsr that was sectioned in the late 40s. The "Cord looking" hood side pipes were also added in the late 40s I am told. The car is from Orange County, CA.
