Thanks to BenD for picking it up and delivering it. Here it is as I got it. I allready got the clutch working and fired it up. I need to do the regular tune up, fluid, brake job, and hopefully it will be drivable. I swapped the aluminum wheels with my vans steel ones and put on a set of PMD's I had sitting around. Now I need to sell one of my other trucks so I can drive this one home.

Hope you still have the Y block. One of the best engines ever made! I had a truck just like ours, except short bed, with a 292 in it. With the 2 bbl Holley on it, it would smoke the tires for a block. Only trouble I had was the wiring under the dash went up in smoke one day as I was driving about town. Filled the cab with smoke, had to do an emergency bail out on the side of the road. Other than that, it was a great truck. Good luck with yours!

It's got a 292 in it and thats gonna stay. The engine will stay fairly stock, I'd like to find some rams horn manifolds for it to eliminate the cross over. I've got a set of T-bird valve covers I'm going to clean up and put on it. I've got a dropped axle I need to pick up for it, to lower it a bit. This one needs to stay a driver and not turn into a huge project, I've got two many of those allready.
