Photoshop Experts please...

Please throw some ideas on my '50 coupe...I am thinking much lower, flat black w/ white top, and red wheels...However I would like to see any other suggestions...Thanks, much appreciated...

 

Forget flat black and red steels, its been done to death. Thats a cool looking car you have there allready. Just needs lowering and minor shaving. I even like the Moon discs.

 

...along with lower and shavin', just shoot the roof in antique white with small metal flake and a nice set of hubcaps....

 

My 2 cents would be to drop the rear only , leave the front alone. A set of Daddy or olds caps , an off or antique white roof, and a fulton visor. Please dont change the paint from shiny! That is almost the perfect color for a period mild custom, dark shiney colors are awesome!

my 53 is shiney metallic blue and ive wanted to spray it semi gloss black every since i got it and just cant bring myself to do it

everyone i tell this frowns and encourages me to leave it the f alone, so after hearing this repeatedly i agree with the rest leave it the color it is just spray the top some cool color and cruise the shit outta it

please DON'T paint it flat black.

Please dont shoot it flat balck. The color on it is nice. Drop it a little and flake the roof and the car will be bad ass

 

Shaved the hood ornament, the gravel guards and the emblem. Removed the bumper guards front and rear. Split the manifold, dual carbs, mp3 player routed through stock radio (ok, that last part is hard to see, admitedly)
Silver flaked the roof with body-color matching insterts.
Caddy hubcaps, rear lowered only.

Another $0.02... drop it even all the way around, shave the hood-bird, deck lid and door handles, maybe even move the gas-filler neck to the inside of the trunk and lose the flap, skirts would be nice, change out the hubcaps(beauty rings and spider-caps up front and just beauty rings in the back... if you run skirts). I kinda like that red/maroon color it is now, but a different color above the beltline would be kinda cool, maybe some '60s-ish scallopy/reverse flamey patterns on the roof.

I agree with some of the others... flat-black is a tad-bit played out. If everyone takes a little break from that color it'll come back in a few years and be cool again.

Yes it had skirts and a visor...I am selling them...not the direction I want to go right now...nothing wrong with that look, but not for me with this particular car...

 

shaved handles, nosed n decked, white top, pagan gold body with a traditional drop and Sombreros/WWWs. damn i just creamed my pants.
