I hadn't seen a post on this yet, but I just got the new (1st) issue of Kustoms Illustrated. I have three words to describe it. Quality, quality, quality. Wow! This is one nice magazine. Lots of color photos of great "traditional" customs, excellent text without all the cutesy words and phrases and all printed on really nice paper. Great features, tech and event coverage. I only ordered one copy (to see if I'd be getting my money's worth) but I will definetly be subscribing. This is THE magazine for custom lovers. Just my 2 1/2 cents worth.
Donzie, I still haven't seen it yet, but it sounds exceptional. Here's the thread about it that I started a week ago: http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/showflat.php?Cat=&Board=UBB1&Number=364869
Sorry, didn't mean to post it twice. Maybe somebody missed the first one. I really feel this is money well spent.
Donzie, nice to hear the good feedback.....I've got one comimg and can't wait to check it out!!....I've had the pleasure of talking with Luke Karosi the editor and he seems like a great guy and a real diehard hot rodder!!
[ QUOTE ] Any chain bookstores carry it, to scope it out before subscribing? Thanks, Steve [/ QUOTE ] I doubt that any stores are going to have it, at least right away. Here's their web site I'll guarentee you, you won't be disappointed.
