What a difference a year makes! Actually, it hasn't been a year since I traded my C-Dan for my Five Window, but the coupe looks much better now... Heres a shot from last June. Right before I bought it..

I'd go dual quad and Cal Custom covers, but that's just me [IMG]

I have a set of Ansens that I can change whenever I want. But I like the M/T's for that "drag car" look. Dual quads or a Corvette trip intake are next.. [IMG]

Now you just need some blakwall Firestones to complete the look. Looks good though [IMG]

The song says "what a difference a day makes" but in your case it took a little longer. That car has improved at least 100% since you got it. Be careful with what you do from now on, you don't want to ruin all of the PROGRESS. What you have now is definitly a HOT ROD.

Heres a shot of the Ansens.. I ran them until I found the M/T's. Thanks Ryan. They not only look better, but they weigh a whole lot less. Probably dropped 15-20 lbs. per side. But theyre LOUD.

Next step is to paint the fire wall the same cream color as the wheels. After that, I'm going to paint the body using John Deere tractor paint. Then, its getting striped and I'll leave it alone. How it looks now is how I saw it (In my head at least..) last June. Never thought I would find those head lights though..that was a bonus.. [IMG]

  17. Good looking car. It's amazing how changing a few key parts can give the car a whole new attitude.

I kinda like those Ansen valve covers [IMG]

your Ansens look like the Weiand, Copo, Yenko and other covers, are they the same casting?

Absolutely under powered! It barely gets out of its own way.. What schmuck thought that putting a Big Block in such a heavy car would make it go at all? Maybe I should put something else in there...? [IMG] [IMG]

Nice car. But man, do we need another flat black rod with painted wheels? How about adding a little color to that John Deere tractor paint. Make it a little different than all the other flat black rods. Just my opinion....but you asked.

Great job. It's nice to see a car rescued. It's a hot rod now with the right look. Cool.
