UH..... Well.... That's one way to build a truck. It would be really cool if you tossed a caddy 500 and transaxle in the back and replaces the bullet strap for a leather strap.

swap out the air cleaner ...and throw on a louvered tonneu cover....then you'd never know if it was a caddy or a suzuki..... that thing ought to scoot....even with a v6.....and you can even get to the rear plugs.... brandon:D

Its a 2.8 out of a 88 Fiero, 5 spd stick and it scoots pretty good. ****** shifter is sitting on an old ammo box so the bullets kinda flowed from there. When something happens to this engine we might so to something else ,however for now the V6 is working quite well.

Neat ride - reminds me of the article in the latest Rod & Custom about turning old trucks into rpus. Rear engine though, that's different. Nice effort - and not to sound like a broken record, but I'd s**** the bullets too.

No aftermarket gears avalible. The ring / pinion's are usually in the mid 300's range (3:55). I have been told there is a 4:11 ratio in some of the 4 speeds but have yet to come across one.

And one more for dropping the bullets...
Other than that (those?) I love it...

Oh, and I agree with Davesville about extending the lower bonnet (hood) sides.

At least you should have great leg room...

Drop the bullets and move the front axle back so it doesn't look goofy.

Yeah i was at the JS and Suffolk, will be at the magnetos hot rod thrill show this sat. I almost didnt include the pics of the bullets kinda thought they would not go over too big here on the HAMB.There is a lot of serious thought , fabbing , effort ect , been put into this build .The bullets are kinda hokey but I just wanted to have fun and make people smile,so far i am having the time of my life. Thanks for the comments ,oh yeah were putting an alum beer keg BBQ under the hood/bonnet. Hey Brandon that dwg looks good the reason we did it the way we did was so people would have to bend down to
'see"the engine and the look on their face when they dont see one is pricless. When we chopped the top we made a seam and the top is actually removable so it can be a roadster Ps went to your site , your art work is outstanding

I suppose that is the Yan for the fellow around here who cliped the front of his 47 Studebaker pickup wit the businessend of a Norstar Fwd Caddy. The caravan rear axle has a lot of people scratching their heads......
