[IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]Just thought I would share some pics of our projects. The top is our NEWEST ( got it home on 06-08-07 it is a 56 chev. The White Caddy is my husbands 64 ... his pride and joy ,and the bottom one is a 41 Chev master Delux Coup. The 41 was supposed to be mine, but it is just sooooo far from comming together that it scares me to think about it, and then last week we came across the 56 and I HAD to have that car. So that one is my new project.I am a little nervous this is my FIRST ever project I have tons of ideas , but little knowlege so I guess we will do the best that we can. Brandon ( my hubby ) or Duncan as most of the kropdusters know him by will be doing the mechanicle work , and I plan to do some of the cosmetics on the outside and the interior . She is still rough but not as far off as the 41. So ... the plan ... is to have it running by this sep so we can take it to a car show in our home town and then do some clean up and customising thru the winter so that we can bring it to the 08 RR. And todd ( breeder ) I dont think we will be able to bring it for the beerBQ, but I will try to get him to stay on task and keep my fingers crossed. Rite now he is on the search for a radiator for the caddy. Thanks for lookin. Athena

    Welcome, Athena!:)

Looks like you guys have your work cut out for you but they're all real worthy projects. Please post photos of your progress so we can all see how you're doin'. You can't have better friends than the Kropdusters. Good luck and have fun!

brandon took all the carpeting out and the seats and the floor boards in the 56 are in GREAT shape ( i was pleasantly surprised. BUT .... he brought the bumpers home , and the front bumper has some surface rust in a few spots and it looks ugly. I was realy wanting those big super shinny bumpers. :( So bummed. Someone mentioned to me having them "re-dipped" has anyone ever heard of this and I am ***uming this is costly ... anyone know about this ??

[IMG]I know this one is a little too new, but it is my dad's 1970, and I think it at least deserves a nod. He had done TONS of work to it and he is just so proud of it. Sad deal is, my dad is low sighted blind, he cant even drive it we gotta take him for rides in it. :( Lost is eye sight when he was 37

Hey, you don't need to see when you are ridin' in a Caddy, You just find a misty evening, put a little 'Sweet Home Chicago" or whatever your favorite blusey tune is on the radio, turn on the wipers to keep time, adjust your cheap sungl***es, and lay back and enjoy the ride.

Ohh he does, I take him out in it as often as I possibly can. My husband, put in the new engine and ****** and did all the mech work on it for him, he then took it to a local guy around here and had new steel put in it where it was needed, when he got the car is was NOT too pretty, looked like a tree fell rite on the hood , HUGE dent creased it and there was a lot of ugly "age" spots on it. And he had the back seat re-done. He is now considering a stereo system for it . :) LOL I swear he would sleep in the damn thing if mom would let him. He was 49 when he got it, he is 51 now. He had to wate for all 4 of us kids to get outta the house , I can remember him saying "I cant have nothing nice, ...... damn kids:) LOL they were 17 when they had the 1st one of us.
