Stolen Model A Hot Rod ALERT!!! San jose Ca.

just heard my neighbor got his Model A ripped off

right out of his garage today,flat black,full-fendered,351 Cleveland with tunnel ram 2 x 4 bbl.

more details later as i learn them.

 

one more reason that i have a FOID card.. heh heh

there are really only a smsall amount of people into our style of car.... It will probably turn up, even if just in parts.

the guy's computer got stolen too,but he's gonna email some pictures to me later tonight or early tomorrow.

the body is old,but the frame,wheels,engine,trans,brakes,axles etc. are all brand new stuff.

 

LA roadster show is this weekend get pics soon so we know what to look for not only as a complete car but parts of the car. I will keep my eyes open.

 

I will keep my eyes open around the Oakland eastbay area. Pics would be nice.

 

Man, he's got my sympathy. Another example on why we should all have a dog, and a .45 automatic, of which I have one of each. When someone steals a car, it ain't no big deal. That's what insurance is for. But when they steal a man's own creation the lowly *******s are takin' part of your soul. A slow, suffering death is even too good for s*** like that. Need pics & #'s of the motor as that's likely to get pulled and replaced. Model A parts are worth a lot more when they make up a ride rather than parted out. If it was stolen to be parted, a toyota camry would have been a better choice. New motor, new paint & upholstery and it'll surface again. Any distinguishing characteristics on the body?

there is a mad sin concert tonight and a small car show in fresno this saturday. i'll keep my eyes opened for the car or parts.....had IFS right? and you say the car was flat black when stolen? sorry to hear about this, hopefully we can get her back home.

That's like losing a family member and somebody wants to make fun by suggesting that a TV show took it. That's pretty ****ed up. I've had two cars stolen and let me tell you it ain't funny. What do the cops have to say? Was it locked up or what? People think I'm paranoid when I don't let strangers in my shop but there's a reason I act like that. I'm really sorry to hear this and I don't know what to say to make it any better except that the Aman will keep his eyes and ears open.
