Where to buy seatbelts?

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by Tiny, Jun 13, 2007.

  1. I need to put seatbelts in my daily driver. I'm gonna be a dad for the second time soon. Right now the car only has two lap belts in the front seat. This is fine for me and my boy but add one more and we have a problem. So I guess the question is where is the cheapest place to buy two retractabe shoulder belts and three lap belts with chrome old style buckles in powder blue?
    Thanx

Got the ones for my '63 Pontiac from Night Prowlers. Good price and have the early look.

I could use a pair for the Sedan....Are there any Alliance Vendors that have `em? Would be nice to support our own if we can...

  8. Juliano's now has aircraft style 3-pt. seatbelts, but I don't see them on the Alliance Vendor list.

    Thanks,
    Kurt

Julianos has nice stuff. Not the cheapest place but I doubt anyone would ever argue their quality.

This would be a good alliance vendor.

I used the belts from Andover Restraints (link above) in my A. Very nice belt, hardware included, polished plain stainless buckle, good price. What else do you need?

    That's who I use.

  14. Maybe I am just a cheap-ass, but I always get mine at the junkyard. Especially on half price day at the self-service yard, just look through the different vehicles and find something that works. They will probably not have the aircraft style lift to release buckles, but some of the older cars have nice metal buckles. Just get a set in nice condition and figure out some mounts to put them in your car.
