Anyone know where to get either a wood kit or templates for a '34 Chevy truck. A friend just bought an Uber-Solid western truck but the wood is FUBAR.

Go to the archives in the National Woodie Club, they have a good website, or contact Doug or Susy Carr at the WoodNCarr in Signal Hill Calif. They will be listed in the links section of the NWC. Good luck.

if you aint restoring it ****can the wood and use thin wall tubing. it's gonna give you more structural integrity. i had a 36' chevy truck and the po. did me a favor and switched cab to a 37'. old fischer bodies aren't for the rookie hot rodder. i know a guy that has a 32'coupe and it's never going to get done, it will probably be sold a parts after he tears it apart.
