Check tire pressures to make sure the fronts are even.

Dammit that's right! Forgot about that one. On my 62 Caddy it was an indication that one of the strut rods had come loose or it's bushings were shot. Another one was when one of the shaft ends had worked loose.

yea, give the suspension parts and steering parts a good going over, and you may have one wheel cylinder sticking, its letting it push the pressure all to one wheel

is there an easy way to " un-stick" a wheel cylinder? or do i have to rebuild or replace it?

The pivot shafts where the arms meet the frame. On the Caddy each pivot shaft has bushings retained by washers and a nut at each end.

  8. Don't always blame the brake components when the car pulls under braking.

Check the front end alignment, especially the toe-in. If the front has significant toe-out, when you apply the brakes, especially on an uneven surface, this will help produce a pull to one side condition.

mine was pulling HARD toward the center lane (scary stuff) i was toed-out real badly....i think i'm about a 1/16" toe-in now and it made all the difference in the world!

Those older Falcons and others with that arm & lower strut configuration can develop a nasty pull if the strut rod bushings are "gone".....it will allow the lower arm to deflect during braking, pull the toe 'way out into left field and drag like hell. You need clean dry shoes, nothing sticking (like a wheel cylinder), everything properly adjusted and no slop in any of the bushings.....including the strut rods.

your rubber line could be clogged/smashed. put the car up on stands and have someone hit the brakes and see if you can spin the wheel.
