So my dad and I are driving down the road right now (on the internet via Cingular wireless laptop card) on the way to the L.A. Roadster show and we just saw George Barris on the I-210. He was in a heavily modified last generation Mustang. At first I wasn't sure if it was him or not until I saw the Barris badge over the corba badge on the side. I thought it was funny. Here's some pictures: JImmy
wow jimmy, thats pretty neat that you saw him on the freeway, hope you get alot of pics from the roadster show
it`s a good thing everybody was sitting still on a 6 lane hwy, or it might have been blury! god austin is turning in to L.a.
Kirk! and I saw him getting a haircut in the Dallas airport last week.... guess I should have started a celebrity sighting post.... lol.
Denise, I think you are wrong, this acctually might be the mighty Barris, going to Pomona, check out the gl***es.
That is absolutely embarr***ing. I mean, we've all got a favorite Barris kustom.. and the ******* is driving THAT? Looks like he stole it from some hoodlums on the wrong side of the tracks.
Thought he was the host of the Gong Show..........................That car looks like real dang .......plastic!!
clearly he did awesome work on anything pre-70, so obviously he has some good taste and knows how to build a sweet custom, but seriously, ive seen better tuner garbage produced by teenagers who work at mcdonalds, that mustang looks like ***, he should stick to old stuff. Id be embarrased to drive that mustang and I drive a red 1990 tempo, with flaking clearcoat, it rattles when i drive, and im not entirely sure why.
Hey 50mercfan we all know what he has done in the PAST, but what pisses us real Kustom fans off is, what a shame it is that he has resorted to building these late model cars......SAM and George are still looked up to by the ******** kustom people...but it is hard to overlook these piles he is building now......OH ya what do I have!!! my ****py computer won't allow me to load a picture TODAY!!! but just do a search for timebomb 51 chevy its copper with white interior...
