Still havn't been doing much but I have gotten some work done on the HAMB auction T-sedan. The frame and main body are almost ready for paint (red flake!). I widened the rear wheels to fit the slicks better, and added some upholstery to the roof insert. The top will be white with the two pleated strips in gold to match the wheels. The more I work on this one, the more I think "screw you gys, I'm keeping it!!"
maybe this is only neat to me.. but my dad made this when he was 11. maybe one of you older guys will recognize it. i have no clue what it says on the side, and check out that quickchange! haha my dad was never a car guy but its pretty neat to me. cool part of my small hotrod collection.
That is the Monogram 1/24 scale "Pie Wagon" kit designed by Tom Daniel. 1968 is when it came out. Very cool that you still have it. Check this link. Brad http://www.tomdaniel.com/85_kits/frm_85kits.html
I built one of those when I was about 11... thanks for making me feel ancient! I rebuilt it a couple of years ago, as all my original built-ups were victims of firecracker-based car bombings... http://www.flickr.com/photos/coop666/511016168/in/set-72157600252048134/ For those who don't know - this kit has a pretty decent flathead motor, for kitbashed hot rods...
Nice stuff fellas, I like seeing the progress on that sedan Fidgiter. I' really need to get some decent pictures of my works in progress...
