***Model Car Sunday***

    Still havn't been doing much but I have gotten some work done on the HAMB auction T-sedan. The frame and main body are almost ready for paint (red flake!). I widened the rear wheels to fit the slicks better, and added some upholstery to the roof insert. The top will be white with the two pleated strips in gold to match the wheels. The more I work on this one, the more I think "screw you gys, I'm keeping it!!" :D

    maybe this is only neat to me.. but my dad made this when he was 11. maybe one of you older guys will recognize it. i have no clue what it says on the side, and check out that quickchange! haha my dad was never a car guy but its pretty neat to me. cool part of my small hotrod collection.

    That is the Monogram 1/24 scale "Pie Wagon" kit designed by Tom Daniel. 1968 is when it came out. Very cool that you still have it.

    I built one of those when I was about 11... thanks for making me feel ancient!

    I rebuilt it a couple of years ago, as all my original built-ups were victims of firecracker-based car bombings...

    dammmm wish i could post up my work for the week been hard at it toooo


    picked up a amt model a roadster and pretty much redesigned the whole damm kit, z'ed the frame front and rear, chopped the windsheild, channeled the whole body, suicided the frontend and a whole lotta cool stuff, like i said been hard at work on this one

    ah hell by next sundays model car sunday thread ill probabely have the lil roadster done so ill snap a couple in progress shots of it before i go any farther

    the wife on th other hand has just about finished her 49 merc, sprayed it a cool candy apple red with lots of flake added a body line kinda cross between a 55 buick & a early vette .......so like above mentioned we will get it up on here next sunday too


    sorry guys no pics this week but promise lots of cool stuff for next week
