Thought it was time for an up date on my f.e.d. Orginal thread here http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=174060 So since last time I have totaly dissambled the car, which dont take long. And made all new steering linkage and radius rods. Then sent everything out to chrome plater. While all that was gone I worked on other things that needed attention. Finish fitting the body and anything else I could get done. It is all back together. But still waiting on the clutch. I shure thought I would be making passes in this thing by now. The frame is just rattle canned black right now. Was just going to leave it bare for a while , but man with the chrome I thought it would look better with paint. Didnt want to paint it with good paint till I made some passes to make shure everything is OK. Other things I have been working on is the trailer for this car. Work on it every day. You know keep chipping away. Soon as I get the clutch, it is race day. Cant wait. I want to get seat time in this before MOKAN.

Really looks good. What did you end up going with for a clutch?

  14. Car looks killer man, I love it. Are you gonna actually make passes in it? Where at? We have a track here in Upstate NY that would allow it, the track is like 2 sidewalks side by side!

VERY nice! Looks like a LOT of fun.

Maybe you can muster up a "grudge" match with John Spradlin's little SBC digger (from nearby Billings, MO) that's ran at a couple HAMB drags. I know he just added a blower a few months back.

In any case, add my name to the people who will be anxious to see your cool little car at MoKan. Best of luck with getting things dialed in.

  19. Lookin' good, K.C. !!!

How big is the motor ? Do you think you can pull a direct drive ?

Looking good and I can not wait to see it at Mokan.
One question, have you pulled it around with that trailer?
I'm thinking about building me one to pull the HA/GR on and wondered how it would pull with one axle. I just hate loading it on a car trailer everytime i want to test and tune. Looks like it would be much easier with a purpose built trailer.

Answer: Have to wait 30 minutes to swim after eating, stay off the grass and keep your elbows off the table.
