Got a kool fathers day gift Saturday. I got tickets to see the Rumblejetts and the Stray Cats perform in KC Missouri!!! They will be playing at the Uptown theater on July 31. Needless to say I'm a huge fan of Setzer and being able to checkout the trio will be way Kool. The Rumble jetts are one of my new favorite bands and they will do a great job backing them up. We will be driving up Thursday afternoon and we will spend the night some here in KC. This Kat is to old to drive back that night. That will be a killer concert! Are tickets still available?!...I would think that uptown would sell out pretty fast due to it's size.
You're so lucky. Here in Chicago, we get them at a "festival" type show, featuring Reo Speedwagon. Barf...
bttt First of August they are playing with ZZ top in Ok City but it is going to be outside at the Zoo. I guess I'm getting to old. Standing outside in Oklahoma in August is not a good idea. This could be one of the best concerts that I've been to. It will be tuff to beat when Reverend Horton Heat backed up ZZ top at the Brady theater. Happy Trails, Mick
