Pimpin my friend, simply pimpin, in every sense of the word. The pink is super cool once you know the backstory, but it's way too mary-kay otherwise. Seems like it's been bouncing around, and finally found it's way home. The old lady would be happy. Good luck with it
Yes , I feel the car has come full circle. Had a talk with my brother today about what this car is. When I built it I was not to be a rod,it is not a rod, it is not a rat rod,it is not a resto, it is not a custom. . After attending the Roundup this year, I think it is sort of a crossover rod, fits a little of each.
before the term street rodder became a bad thing i think this style car was called a restro-rod stock body with a mildly updated drive train to make it reliable . i think bud brian from rod and custom had one of the first .if i am not mistaken his was a 1938 buick.
It looks like its a close color to the Mary Kay caddys..Get a Mary Kay decal put in the rear window.. Call it a early Mary Kay car. If the inside is pink that also means its all pink on the inside.... Bobby..
