So it collects water and sends it right into the distributor?

It looks kick *** and is just about the most creative hood I have ever seen... but... is there some kind of gutter channel for water?

Kind of a neat idea. Outside my area of interest but still pretty neat.

I think some of those orca betties, or fatty page's that were being complained about last week must have sat on his perfectly good hood when he wasn't around!

I don't like it. It looks like it's melting.

Does it really matter? I mean most roadsters have open motors without a hood at all.

  10. Kinda reminds me of the guts of those aftermarket Harley air cleaners that funnel the air into the carb.

Is there some sort of science to the shape of it, or is it just for looks?

And do most roadsters with open hoods have a "waterfall" pointed right at the distributor?

  12. I'd like too see the underside! Hummmmmmmmmmmm

Not trying to make an argument, but I don't think it makes any difference. Wet is wet.

Yeah. It was nice that he did it, but let's not have anyone else try that.

No worries Scooter. I still think it's completely *****in.

I would just wonder how that steady stream of water flow aimed at the distributor (beyond just getting wet) affects the driveability in less than ideal weather.

I totally understand. It is cool looking. I dig the air cleaner bullets. One would only hope that the owner will keep it out of the weather if he/she can help it.:D

Very creative. I'd file that under "glad someone else did it, but not for my car".

I've never understood the mindset that it takes your name on the ***le to be able to criticize a car.

I agree. I tell em when I likes em
    and I tell em when I don't.

Still think it looks like he forgot to take off the hood before dropping the motor in.

Outside the box thinking, not my cup-O-tea though. Well executed.

  29. Cool idea and nice execution. Just jacked up if it were to be driven in the rain.
