Just reminding everyone that the 15th annual Rockabilly Rumble Music festival & Road Rockets car show is coming up June 21st through the 24th. This is the longest running weekender in the U.S. For those of you that have not attended i highly encourage you to attend. There is a great atmosphere in the air,friendly people,great cars,and lots of good times. What you can expect is: Over 500 Hot rod's & Customs. Lots of vendors at the car show. Lots of bands & a live DJ. A Pin up contest (that gets risque at times). Special guests and displays. Inside the Hotel will be a ton of bands,Dj's,A theatre playing 50's Hot Rod & Sci Fi movies ,A room with more vendors selling vintage clothes,vintage furnitures,records & cd's. I can't make it this year, but their show is always a good time. FYI,The show hotel has been booked up for awhile... but the rockabilly girls always book several rooms "just in case" and then dump them at the last minute, so it doesn't hurt to check back
I've had a room booked since last year. I am not going this year. Just thought I would give a HAMB member first crack at it. Just let me know. I did request a room on the bottom floor and they said no problem. I will not cancel till this weekend.
Wouldn't miss it for the world. Another one of our favorite shows. Tom, Naomi and the Road Rockets always put on a superb show.
I can't wait! This will be my third year-this time I'm getting there on Thursday so I don't miss any of the bands. I booked my room as soon as I got home last year. Tom and Naomi definitely know how to put together a great car show, and Dave Loehr knows how to put together a FANTASTIC rockabilly show! I bought advance tickets to all three evenings.The only downside is my shoebox STILL isn't ready yet. Al Von

We will be heading over on Friday Morning from Peoria/Morton IL area and setting up shop for the weekend. We are meeting right off of I-74 in Morton at the gas station at 9:00 am feel free to join us and add to the caravan. The Bombers C.C.
This will be my first year for the show. My girlfriend is vending with her pinup inspired paintings/prints. Looking forward to it. From what I hear its a great show.
The Star Devils are pretty good. I just grabbed my Suit cases out of our ba*****t. For those that have never attended these guys put on a great show ! There are great cars,great music,lots of laughs, and most of all the atmosphere is very nice!
Nope, but we will be doing a TIKI carving demo with a chainsaw on Saturday. I'll hopefilly be selling a few, too.
Axle... this is Lance's Dad. I'll be helping out with the movies in the hotel lobby. I remember last year you guys were talking about some of so cal scene locations in "The Ghost of Dragstrip Hollow". Tom, Naomi and myself were talking how cool it would be if you or Sinus could give a little commentary before during or after the movie. Were showing twice this year.
