History of "dick" head castings?

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by Pickle, Jun 20, 2007.

  1. Does anyone know the history of "****" heads for flatheads? There was a set on a 32 roadster at the LARS, just wondering if anyone know who cast them/when/number made? I don't have a picture of them but I'm sure somebody here does.

    Thanks.

I saw a pair at Taylor Engine one time, they weren't for sale as they belonged to a customer, shame as they would have been great fun to own. I know nothing about the history but I guess someone called **** is involved somewhere along the line!

I used to have an intake that had the coolest block lettering.

I have seen a set down here. I'm pretty sure they were on the Piaggi/Pavlovich T-altered and that they made them locally, but my memory could be failing me. Kiwi-Kev would probably know more about that set.

  7. If you could grt it tuned it would not stay tuned very long

  8. It's not a set-up...really.

The roadster that had them on it was on the far side of the Fairground...not in the parking/swap areas.

Try doing a google image search for them. Remember to turn the filtering off too....

Maybe they were made in the UK by King **** and had the King ground off?
