Greetings, to all fellow gas/nitro/fire/smoke freaks, I've been late to "jump in" as I have been busy reading all the neat stuff and getting a feel for the site. I've been rodding in the San Gabriel Valley in the El Lay area(as BDR used to call it) since the 60's. I started with a '30 Ford panel delivery dubbed "Miracle Pies, If Its a Good Pie Its a Miracle" on the side. It had a sb chevy it. Surprised I didn't get killed in that thing. My parents used to drop me off at the local drag strips in the early 60's (Lions, San Gabriel, Fontana) and pick me up after the races were over. I was about 11-14 years old at the time. Thank goodness I always had my camera. Still have my chopped '34 sedan. Nothing but nothing beats the blues or the aches and pains of being a 56 year old like chugging down the highway, peaking through a 7 inch windshield, cranking up some old surf tunes, and ignoring the disco dork next to me in his front wheel drive plasti-crate.... Ahhhh, life is good.
Hi, '60Coupe, Photos, yes. Know how to post them? No....but I'll find out soon. I do have some neat photos from the early 60's I will be happy to share. Thanks for the welcome, love the Caddy, and I'm off to dig through my scrapbooks.

Welcome from Pasadena, upload your pics on photobucket and then post from there......always works for me.
